Are you breaking down, or breaking through?

Are you breaking down, or breaking through?

By Nina Kaufman, Esq.

Stuck. That’s how I felt last week. The kind of paralysis that comes from trying to do too much all in the same moment, not knowing where to turn, not thinking clearly, not getting traction. The phrase “… being too much in the world” kept dancing in my head. Ever felt that way in your business? I was mired in enough stuck-ness in that moment that knew I wasn’t going to figure it out on my own. So I played a game. Held a contest on Facebook, which I called “Breakdown to Breakthrough.” I wanted to hear from business owners who had also hit that wall. Who also felt the siren call, the lure of “don’t try so hard … you don’t have to grow any bigger … it’s too much work ….” And yet, squared their shoulders and broke through to the other side. And this week, I’m excited to introduce you to serial entrepreneur, Freda Thomas, our contest winner. She’s an award-winning (outside of our contest) NYS Certified Business Advisor and founder of…

Flying solo doesn’t have to mean going it alone.

I’m Nina Kaufman.

I know first-hand that running a knowledge-based service business has unique challenges. It’s so much easier when you have an advocate in your corner. Over the past 25 years, I’ve worked with thousands of New York business professionals who want a legal advisor to guide and support them as they navigate the business world.

With wide-ranging experience as a business attorney, strategist, and media authority, I bring the added power of a business lens to the legal issues my clients are facing.

And because I’ve been a business owner myself, I’ve lived through the soaring highs and devastating lows – like when my first law firm failed. So I understand what’s involved to serve great clients, detect business risks early and build a true legacy.

I can’t get those 12 years back. That’s why I have made it my mission to ensure that business professionals like you can become wise and discerning leaders, build a solid business, and live your best life.
