Tom Clancy is a third-generation Entrepreneur and troubleshooter, from his maternal grandfather George McCann, running a local handyman business in south queens during World War 2 while the younger men were away at war, to his father working as a mercury outboard racing crew chief, plumber, carpenter, general contractor, to Tom himself fixing his bandmate’s electronics during their time on the road and in studios around the country, and using his “downtime” to service the New York advertising industry’s technology uptown and down. Tom founded Valiant Technology in 2002 with two partners, and thirteen years later they’ve got nearly 30 employees, over 100 active customers and they don’t plan on slowing down their growth and the development of their unique tool kit any time soon.
